Did this video help you?

john vining: Hello Thank you for helping the newbies like myself....I see that several of your videos are 2012 vintage... You speak of using HI-TECH-C however this compiler does not seem to be supported anymore...recommendations suggest something that will cost me $1200.00 --yipes any suggestions? thanks again!

Валерий К: Thanks, it has helped me

AllAboutEE: The XC8 compiler might use a different statement. The internal clock is probably default but you should still learn how to set the clock.

AllAboutEE: Just google HTC compiler, it should be the first link. Then select PIC10/12/16 MCUs and that should take you to a Microchip page where you can download it.

thickleon: But, I still can't use the statement __CONFIG(FOSC_INTRCCLK&WDTE_OFF&MCLRE_OFF&CP_OFF); So, I comment it out and things work.

thickleon: I figured out that the file pic16f690.h is within the director for xc8. I then looked in the pic16f690.h file and noticed something about xc.h. I put xc.h into the include statement and poof, it works.

thickleon: I'm trying to do this, but using xc8 compiler because I can't find the ht compiler. I'm using include pic16f690.h instead of the include htc.h. I have errors. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

AllAboutEE: Yeah I know, but I don't know how lol.

AAT | VISUALS: I really like this tutorial also. I am guessing that you edit this video before you upload it to youtube right?, if you are, then in the video editor, you can take out the audio from the camera's internal mic and use audio from a seperate microphone, just record both simultaneously. Also try to be in a room that does not produce too much echo. Once again thanks for the tutorials, It really helps me out.

AllAboutEE: No problem, have fun!

fracullen1: Thanks for making this video which has really helped me program my first Pic.

AllAboutEE: I haven't tried 1000, the compiler's user guide doesn't say anything about a limit though. You could use two 500, or a while loop for large numbers:)

RYR: when I use 1000 as the argument it said too large, any ideas why? and I can't use __delay() for a longer delay, undefined symbol. I have inlcuded htc.h

AllAboutEE: Yeah the camera has a built in mic and am forced to use it if I want to record video, I'll see if I can buy a camera without one.

jaime sanmartin: video is good, sound is very bad
